Absolutely the best place!! The mechanics were awesome, we blew a horse trailer tire & they swapped a new tire, put it on & everything!! Even in the rain, very friendly & helpful. 15/10 recommend them for all future references! So thankful!
This place is by far the best automotive repair place I’ve been to. Hands down. I was greeted the second I walked in the door and scheduling my appointment was super fast and convenient and they are beyond friendly. They also have great prices on their stuff. Will definitely be back!!!
I ran over something on the road on the interstate traveling to Lexington, KY. Once AAA got my emergency spare on, this was the first tire store I found. I was taken right in. They didn’t have a my tire in stock, but they put on a used one that would get me home and didn’t charge anything for it. While waiting, I listened to the manager handle phone calls and he was honest and professional. If I lived in the area, I would certainly take my cars there for service. Thank you SO much!!!
Went in for the 1st time today for an oil change and alignment. Was greeted immediately with sincere kindness. (That’s rare these days). Work was quick and easy and a lot cheaper than the other places I tried. This will be my preferred place from now on.
Had a flat on interstate 40 and they where close by. Managed to get enough air in our tire to make it to their shop. They squeezed me right in and took care of my family in a very respectful and professional manner. I will be back best services I’ve had in years!
Awesome experience. First time in and they proved themselves for sure. I will go back. They got the issue solved where other shops could not. Moreover, they were completely honest. The gentleman who called me when it was ready told me he didn’t want to perform an alignment because the numbers were good and he didn’t want to charge me and do it if it wasn’t necessary. Good people. I highly recommend them

It was dark and cold at 6:40am. We’d been driving all night, coming from Michigan and going to Florida. And suddenly, our car’s battery power was dropping and warning lights were going off …
We just happened to be near Matlock Tire and pulled in. They had no availability, but worked us in. The had a new alternator in place in a couple of hours and we were back on the road.
We could have been stuck for days had we tried somewhere else. The service was superb and I’d recommend them to anyone.
The majority of the staff there are professional and friendly. Best service of any tire store in East Tennessee. Craig & Josh have perfected customer service. They take care of my mother and my college-aged daughters as if they were their own. Highly recommend this business.
Phenomenal service. I was rolling into Knoxville for the Tennessee-Alabama game and found a screw in my tire. The gents at Matlock Tire had me repaired and on my way in 45 minutes, plenty of time to catch kickoff. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
I cannot say enough good things about the team at Matlock in Lenoir City!! Timely and quality tire changes with the BEST and most genuine customer service. They treated my family like their own. We were traveling with our two small children and busted a tire on the interstate while in the area. Craig had our tire in stock and told us to get there right away and he’d take care of us. He certainly did! We were in and out of there in no time, back on the road so we could get our kids home that day. They had lovely waiting areas including a kids’ play area! Just the perfect place. The entire staff was incredibly kind. I highly recommend having your car serviced here!!
What a pleasant surprise. When a nail flattened my tire I called the nearest two repair shops, but neither could fix the flat. A friend suggested I try Matlocks. They were so nice on the phone. Even though they were fully booked they said they would work me in. When I got there the gentlemen behind the counter were welcoming and took care of me right away. Their facility was clean and spacious, there were even rocking chairs on the porch. They had my tire repaired and I was on the road in no time, and they didn’t even charge me! No up-sell, no gimmick. Wow! In these times where it seems businesses are only out to take your money, this is a rare find. I would definitely recommend Matlock Tire Service.

My husband and I have been using Matlock for each of our cars’ services and they have been amazing! I needed new tires and had a difficult time finding the size my vehicle needed. They helped me locate a pair quickly. The price was great and less than several competitors! Service was super easy and they were so friendly and helpful!
I’ve been taking my vehicles to Matlock for service since the 80’s and have always trusted them. They have never tried to up sell me on products or services that I didn’t need. I will continue to give Matlock Tire my business

They fixed my tire! I was told it had a warranty and the shop that put them on sent me there. Once I got there they did the work and then gave me a bill. When I explained what happened, they went ahead and didn’t charge me. Very good company run by nice people. The staff were extremely nice. The waiting room is clean and there’s plenty of magazines to read.
This family owned business has been taking care of my husband’s and my cars for many years. All of the service people are polite and helpful. We have had excellent service from Matlock, always. From oil changes and tune up to major repairs, they have consistently treated us well. Whenever a repair is needed, the mechanic gives us a call to explain what’s needed and a cost estimate. They are true to their estimate, and I’ve never arrived to pick up my car to find a surprise charge or higher cost. In fact, they repaired a leaky tire for me today at no cost, and gave me an update on the wear of my tires and an estimate on when they’ll need replacing. I’m glad to recommend Matlock to anyone needing their car repaired.

I had a flat tire while driving from Kentucky to Florida and AAA towed my car to Matlock. They replaced the tire and got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. The staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. They made having a flat tire more than 600 miles from home as stress-free as possible.
Great prices and exceptional service. Customers are respected, given straight information and service is timely. Several experiences with total honesty. Thought I needed rotors but just gravel. Could have scammed me but not these folks. I really like the folks and trade with them all the time now.
Easy in and out for a Saturday morning oil change. Excellent, courteous service at the counter followed by only a short wait. Job was completed as requested using my oil and paying a nominal labor fee. Cashier was equally courteous and friendly. I’m new in the area and happy to support a locally-owned small business (with several locations). I’ll be back soon for a new set of tires!

Was on my way to pigeon forge and my truc broke down. Googled the closest auto repair shop and the powers that be sent me to Matlocks. They hooked the loc’d one up and got us bac on the road in no time.
Me and my daughter were driving in the area and started hearing a loud noise from our front tire. I pulled into Matlock and asked them to check it because I was afraid of driving home. They took me in right away, checked it out, and fixed it for me right then. They were so friendly and courteous and really made me feel like I was in good hands. I am new to the area and will definitely be using them for all my car maintenance.

Thank you for such great service! We were visiting from out of state and heard some grinding in our brakes. They were able to get us an appointment the next day and even finished the work fast! My mom is visiting Tennessee and had to stop in since our hometown mechanic incorrectly installed her tierods. There was only a cotter pin holding the tire on!!! They brought her right in and fixed everything up for her. This was a fatal accident waiting to happen! Thank you guys for saving my mom!!! Love from Kansas!!!
Just started using Matlock Tire for service on our two cars and our diesel pickup. Nothing but good experiences here! Bought two new tires for our Miata since they were less than Discount Tire and Costco for same tire. Just had the truck in for some delayed maintenance and they did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with tire noise and vibration. The team at Matlock, especially David, worked with me to solve this issue. If I have any need for their services, I will be going back to them.
Dealing with the stress of a broken-down vehicle on a camping trip is never any fun. Although they were fully booked with a holiday weekend coming up, they graciously agreed to let us have our vehicle towed to their shop and they worked it in to their schedule. They were able to get it repaired for us with 24 hours of when we dropped it off. All of the team members that we dealt with were super nice, and helpful, and kept us informed of the progress of our vehicle. The repair cost was reasonable too. I’m so glad someone at the campground recommended them to us.
The mechanic diagnosed my issue and fixed the problem on the same day. Service and people were professional and courteous. Great service!
